Yasmeen Yahya is a writer who has a diverse background of industry knowledge and interests. She graduated from St. Edward's University in 2018 with a B.A. in Interpersonal & Organizational Communication and a minor in gender studies. Yasmeen has created written content for organizations such as non-profits, government organizations, literary journals, online blogs, and magazines.

Her personal work reflects her passion for social justice and her journey toward loving recklessly. When she isn’t writing, you can usually find Yasmeen organizing something, tending to her urban jungle, or researching a new hobby to pick up.

Yasmeen currently lives with her partner, corgi puppy, and feline royalty (her rescue cat) in Austin, TX.
